Far East Foam Industries began operations in 1971, founded by Mr Albert Loo Chia Foo, a sole propietor, as a trading and wholesale company called Syarikat Far East Industrial. In 1978, it started polyurethane foam manufacturing for industrial use and bedding products for the domestic market. In 1982, Far East Foam Industrial was incorporated. Exports which began with 10% in 1987, have increased to the current 70% for the U.S.A, Japan, Middle East, Africa and ASEAN markets.

In 1991, it went Hi-Tech with injection mould machines and expanded into advanced spring mattresses in 1992. In 1995, it was the first and only local company to invest in the state-of-the-art Cannon Viking Maxfoam production. Presently, FEF's manufacturing facility covers (approx 12,000sq.meter) of built-up area.

Established in 1971, Far East Foam Industries has always been involved in the business of providing quality sleep to our clients. Starting with the domestic market, Far East Foam Industries began manufacturing polyurethane foam for industrial use and for bedding products in 1978. Our company ventured into the spring mattress industry in 1992.
